As a healthcare professional organization, the Chinese American Nurses Association encourages nurses to pursue continuing healthcare education to enhance their nursing knowledge and skills.

Starting from 2018, the Chinese American Nurses Association will subsidize active CANA members who pursue accredited continuing nursing education workshops. Each CANA member nurse may only receive one workshop sponsorship per year, and awards are limited to $100. CANA plans to subsidize ten members in 2018 on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of an application.

1. The completed funding application form

2. A flyer or description of the CE course

3. Your CE registration form

4. Proof of payment to CANA

Applicants will receive approval from CANA two weeks after submitting their application. Reimbursement will be sent to the applicants once the proof of attendance is received by CANA.
